This extension helps users autofill required fields in Singapore’s ECOS IRB submission system. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that any data handled by the extension is used solely to improve your workflow and user experience.

The extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal, sensitive, or confidential data. Specifically:

The only data stored locally (using Chrome storage) may include:

The extension uses the following permissions strictly for its core purpose:
- sidePanel – Displays assistant tools while users work on ECOS pages.
- scripting – Injects code to read and populate fields only on ECOS forms.
- activeTab – Grants temporary access to the current tab after user action.
- storage – Saves user settings, preferences, and templates locally.
- unlimitedStorage (if applicable) – Allows caching of large template/schema files users create.
- Host Permissions – Restricted exclusively to approved ECOS/IRB domains for reading and filling form fields.
No permission is used to collect unrelated data.
4. Data Sharing & Transmission
We do not:
- Share any data with third parties.
- Use analytics trackers.
- Transmit user information to any external database or server.
If the extension is connected to an organization’s system or template library, such functionality will occur only with explicit user action and consent.
5. AI Usage (If Applicable)
If AI is used to assist in generating or mapping responses:
- All processing happens locally or via approved APIs (if any).
- No data is sent to external services without user activation and awareness.
